The first bloom on Mr. Lincoln has opened up. Such a pretty deep red, and such a good smell.
Red roses are hard to photograph well, darnit. Every time the sun shines on this beautiful rose I want to grab the camera and run out there and take a picture, but then it comes out yucky. So I have to wait for it to be overcast. Well, it clouded up today, so I took advantage of it to get a photo of super-smelly Mr. Lincoln. Mmmm...
