This is one of my newer roses. So far I'm waffling on how much I like it. The inside is pretty, but it may have a plant disease. Anyway, it's putting out a lot of new growth, and I'll give it a chance. It does smell really good.
I'm finding that the petals bruise easily, so finding a "perfect" bloom is a bit difficult and doesn't last long even when it hangs onto the petals, but the smell is incredible!
I recently found out that New Zealand is one of the parents of Rock & Roll. George Burns is the other parent. I have all three! :D
New Zealand is about to burst into another round of gorgeous color and intoxicating scent.
Looking past New Zealand and out to my mountains. :) The tiny bit of red along the bottom is Chrysler Imperial.
