When I moved into my house in November 2007, it came with eight different rosebushes. Only two of them had tags to identify them. I've been slowly working my way through the unknowns to ultimately figure them all out. Pristine was one of the unknowns, identified on 21 July 2008 by a helpful forum-reader at Garden Web. It's the largest rosebush, located in the back yard along the deck rail. It had a Dr. Huey sucker that had come out and twined through it, which looked really pretty with the small red roses among the big white roses, but once I learned what suckers were I decided that it had to go. Dr. Huey was cut off on 21 July 2008. Hopefully Pristine will be able to truly take off now.
The page for this rose was originally written up as an identification plea for help, so that's what most of the 2008 photos are, with a few additions at the bottom. The 2009 page is more in the style of the other roses.
