January 2010 Rock & Roll has been pruned. It is sad, especially because it was blooming. I brought the last two flowers inside along with one bud from Arizona--though I don't hold out hope for that one opening. I don't think it's quite enough along. |

April 2010 Yay, I really love this bush. Lots of red and white swirly goodness. It was one of the last bushes I pruned, too. |

April 2010 I love how this rose seems to just swirl open. And we're in the cooler part of the blooming season, so the white is more white-white and less pink. Mmmm. And it smells really good. And it's a grandiflora and gets a bunch of flowers. It's awesome at the front of the house. |

April 2010 Side note: I always find it funny taking pictures in this direction... the green background is my fake lawn. And while it doesn't look fake when you look at the real thing, something about how it shows up in these photos makes me notice it as kind of fake. |

July 2010 When I brought these two roses inside, I spent the next several days picking them up and sniiiiiffing. They both are very strong smellers.
Dave's not fond of Papa Meilland, he says it's too citrusy for him to be a proper "rose" smell (though he likes it otherwise), but he loves Rock & Roll (it's his favorite rose for colors, patterns, and smell). It's the only rose he's enthusiastic about.
I love them both. I love the citrus-leaning roses AND the rose-rose ones. |

September 2010 Rock & Roll has been more pink instead of white lately. |
