Tuscan Sun 2010

Of all the places in either my front or back yard, this probably gets the most sun.

In the white square pots from foreground to background are Carol Burnett, Enchanted Evening, Purple Tiger, New Zealand, Pope John Paul II, and Tuscan Sun. In the two round terra cotta pots are Louise Odier and Heirloom (the two rescues from too much shade in the front yard).

tuscan sun! April 2010
First flower of the season opening up on Tuscan Sun, and I am reminded of how much I love this rose. This is the one that my rose-shopping partner would have taken if I hadn't claimed it first on a big sale day.

I adore this color. And the smell is nice, too. It's not a super-strong smell, but it's definitely there. And the flowers are just gorgeous.
